A SMALL plane crashed into a warehouse in America this morning, killing one person.
Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Laura Brown said one person appeared to have been killed after the accident near the Deer Valley Airport north of Phoenix, Arizona.
The aircraft, a Cirrus SR22, crashed into a building owned by City Wide Pest Control, Scott Walker with the Phoenix Fire Department said.
It was not immediately clear if the crash occurred upon take-off or landing, Ms Brown said.
The weather in the area was good at the time of the crash.
According to KTVT, Deer Valley Airport is close to TransPac Aviation Academy, and unconfirmed reports suggested a student pilot was flying the plane.
In January of this year, student pilot Jingduo “Amy” Zhai was killed when her single-engine plane crashed into a Phoenix parking lot, according to KPHO- TV.
